THE CONVERSATION CONTINUES...
Hosted at the iconic Dodger Stadium, our third installment of Beyond Innovation will advance the conversation on sport's role in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. We are convening executives from across the sports, tech, government and education sectors to inspire cross-sector partnerships and innovative solutions to the world's most pressing social issues in support of the UN Global Goals (SDGs).
Beyond Innovation is by invitation only, but you can register your interest to attend below. The event will feature a stimulating program of world class speakers, live interactive programming on Dodger field, roundtable workshops and a networking reception.
Members of the Sport & STEM Alliance, founded by Beyond Sport, the San Francisco 49ers Foundation and Chevron, will gather on Thursday for an interactive working session at the TGR Learning Lab, run by TGR Foundation - a Tiger Wood's Charity. To learn more about the Alliance and to join, please contact email@example.com.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14
- Sport & STEM Alliance year-end convening | TGR Learning Lab, Anaheim, CA | 9:00am - 1:00pm
During the Forum, Alliance members will become students as they take part in a STEM exploration activity, the Space Lunar Landing Challenge. Through a guided and team-based session, participants will be fully hands-on applying the physics concepts of shock-absorption, drag forces and stability. Using enhanced problem solving, critical thinking and innovation skills, teams will build a space lander and then share with the larger group their design with a successful demonstration.
Then they will come together to decide on the key issues that will become the focus of the Alliance's work in 2020 - bringing insights of their discussion to Beyond Innovation the next day.
- ESPN Leadership Dinner | Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, CA
